Jørn Terje Kristensen is an Attorney-at-Law admitted to appear before the Supreme Court of Norway. Litigation and advocacy have been the primary focus of his legal practice throughout his career.

He began his career at Wiersholm, where he handled litigation across a broad range of practice areas, including administrative law and specialised commercial contracts relating to power supply, onshore and offshore construction projects, and shipbuilding.

As General Counsel at Kistefos, he gained extensive experience in corporate law (including mergers and acquisitions), securities and stock exchange law, real estate, shipping, and finance.

After establishing his own law firm, Kristensen has led several major corporate restructurings on behalf of banks and investors. His work includes advising a bank in connection with the restructuring of companies with a combined value of approximately NOK 4 billion, as well as serving as Chair of the Board of a major company owned by foreign central bank interests. He has also advised investors throughout a complex corporate restructuring carried out in collaboration with one of Norway's leading financial institutions. All of these restructuring processes were completed successfully.

Alongside his restructuring practice, and until 2021, he continued to represent clients in major court proceedings, including a complex trial that lasted several months.

Since 2022, Kristensen has devoted his practice exclusively to traditional legal counsel and litigation. He has represented clients in numerous significant court cases, several of which were resolved through settlement during the proceedings.
